
The Senior Commercial Manager – Refinery Sales is responsible for driving sales performance, pricing discipline, and customer management for refined petroleum products. The role ensures effective market placement of refinery output, optimized cash flow, and strong alignment between refinery operations and market demand.
Develop and execute sales strategies for refined petroleum products (PMS, AGO, ATK, LPG, etc.)
Drive domestic and export sales to optimize refinery capacity utilization
Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks, and competitive dynamics
Manage relationships with key customers, marketers, and distributors
Lead commercial negotiations on pricing, volumes, delivery, and credit terms
Oversee execution of sales contracts and offtake agreements
Coordinate closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Finance teams
Ensure compliance with commercial policies, governance standards, and regulations
Lead and develop the refinery sales team
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, or related discipline
12–15+ years of experience in downstream oil & gas, refining, or energy trading
Proven experience in refinery product sales and commercial negotiations
Strong understanding of domestic and export petroleum markets
Strong commercial and financial acumen
Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
