We are looking for an experienced General Manager to serve as the strategic and operational leader of this new entity. This role goes far beyond traditional project delivery: it requires entrepreneurial drive to establish the subsidiary, deep technical expertise to ensure world-class execution, and strong leadership to build a high-performing local team from the ground up.
The General Manager will be the face of the company in Saudi Arabia, responsible for market positioning, project acquisition, tendering and contract negotiation, technical oversight, and execution excellence. Market Entry & Business Development
- Lead the set-up of the Saudi subsidiary, including strategy, structure, processes, and teams.
- Develop market intelligence and entry strategies to position the company competitively.
- Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities across infrastructure and building sectors.
- Build trusted relationships with government authorities, clients, consultants, and strategic partners.
Project Leadership & Technical Oversight
- Provide technical leadership across engineering, procurement, and construction activities.
- Ensure all projects are executed on time, within budget, and to international quality and HSE standards.
- Oversee tender preparation, cost estimation, and contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors.
- Monitor project progress, risks, and mitigation measures, reporting regularly to executive management.
Organizational Leadership
- Recruit, develop, and retain top talent across technical and managerial functions.
- Establish a culture of performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, industry standards, and company policies.
- Align technical delivery with commercial objectives in close collaboration with regional leadership.
Stakeholder Engagement & Representation
- Represent the company at senior levels, including with clients, authorities, and industry associations.
- Act as the primary spokesperson for the Saudi subsidiary, positioning it as a trusted partner in the market.
- Develop long-term client relationships that secure repeat business and partnerships.
