Job Introduction

    Adexen is mandated by a regional group in logistics and supply chain services to recruit an experienced Business Manager to lead its Ghana subsidiary. The role is based in Accra.  

Responsibilities

    The role will combine sales leadership, branch management, and strategic growth responsibilities, with a direct impact on revenue generation and market positioning.
    This is a leadership opportunity for a results-oriented professional with deep expertise in sales and operational management within logistics or related industries.

    • Lead and manage the subsidiary’s operations in Ghana, ensuring profitable growth and operational efficiency.
    • Develop and execute business strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and expand market share.
    • Drive sales performance, client acquisition, and retention across logistics and supply chain services.
    • Oversee branch operations, ensuring service quality, compliance, and client satisfaction.
    • Recruit, motivate, and develop a high-performing team to deliver consistent results.
    • Negotiate key contracts with clients, suppliers, and strategic partners.
    • Monitor and report on financial performance, budgets, and KPIs.
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and corporate governance requirements.
    • Report regularly to regional and group management on progress, risks, and opportunities.

Desired Skills and Experience

    Education:

    • Postgraduate degree preferred (MBA, MSc, etc.).
    • Strong professional track record may substitute formal education.


    Experience:

    • Minimum 10 years of experience in sales and branch management, ideally within logistics, transport, or supply chain.
    • Must currently hold a revenue target of not less than [insert benchmark].
    • Proven record of achieving and exceeding sales and profitability goals.


    Skills:

    • Strong leadership and people management.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and delegation skills.
    • Problem-solving and decision-making ability with a strategic mindset.
    • Financial and commercial acumen with hands-on operational management.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, ERP, and CRM systems.
