Adexen Recruitment Agency was mandated by a leading construction Company to recruit an expatriate Technical Manager (civil) The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Technical management of the civil department
Regular reporting on civil activities (performance, management...)
Updating on major resources statistics (equipment, staff histograms...)
Regular updates on main material forecasts (concrete, reinforcement, asphalt, aggregates...)
Coordination of support units e.g. Quantity Surveyors, QM, Surveyors...
Design management for civil projects
Cost controlling
Estimation of small size projects
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree from a recognised university in civil engineering, constructment management, builging technology
Master's degree will be a plus
Previous experience in a similar position within a construction company
Minimum 5-10 yeras experience in a senior management role
Previous experience in emerging markets / Nigeria
Fluency in English
