Job Introduction

    Adexen is mandated by an international construction company to recruit an experienced Strategic Business Development Manager. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

    • Responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing and implementing growth strategies, and building strong relationships with clients and partners.
    • Conduct market research to identify potential new business opportunities and analyse current market trends
    • Develop and execute strategies to grow the company's market share and revenue
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and go-to-market strategies
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to drive business growth
    • Lead negotiations for new partnerships and contracts
    • Monitor and analyse competitors and market trends to identify threats and opportunities
    • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline and forecast sales targets
    • Prepare and deliver presentations to clients, partners, and internal stakeholders
    • Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Master's degree in architecture, civil engineering, MBA or a related field
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in large construction project execution
    • Experience in business development, sales, or marketing
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
    • Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations and close deals
    • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
    • Willingness to travel as required
    • Language Skills: English and French
