Adexen was mandated by an international company in the manufacturing and distribution of building materials to recruit an Senior Mechanical Engineer for Nigeria & Ghana. The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
Project Management: acquisition, design, engineering and calculation of projects
Technical support ot four sales / distribution partners & clients to ensure market
Provide the sales team the required technical support, work in hand with the responsible Sales Engineer at HQ
Organize and conduct technical know how
Conduct and support the sales of piping, sanitary and bathrooms systems
Execute market research and analysis to develop recommendations for the market approach
Support in defining the country specific product assortments
Organisaing and conducting of visits, factory tours and training in Switzerland, Germany and South Africa
New product kick-off and presentation
This position is responsible for the Nigerian and Ghanaian markets.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, or any other relevant discipline from a recognised university
Minimum of 5 years experience in plumbing / sanitary field, relationship to contractors and consultants.
International experience is an advantage
Knowledge of the building and construction industry as well as the ability to understand and communicate effectively with regard to technical issues
Communication capacities, negotiation skills
CRM, AutoCAD application knowledge
