MEP Quantity Surveyor / Contract Manager - Expatriate

Job Introduction

Adexen is mandated by a leading construction company to recruit an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor. The position is based in Nigeria.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of interim valuations, applications, contractual notifications  & claims
• Assistance to the project manager / commercial manager with drafting of contractual letters.
• Defending the  valuations, variations and claims with Client and Consultants.
• Contractual advice for the project manager and the technical team.                                                                                                                                                      

Desired Skills and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from a recognised University
• Master's degree is a plus
• Professional Qualifications / certificates in Quantity Surveying
• Solid  experience with FIDIC and JCT contracts.
• High-level communication skills
• Minimum 5+ years' experience in similar positions in reputable organizations.
• Experience with MEP and large building projects.
• Previous experience in Africa / Emerging countries is a plus
