Job Introduction

    Adexen was mandated by an international Oil & Gas company to recruit an experienced Commercial Leader for its operations. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

    • The role is critical in developing and driving the Company’s trade strategy and operational excellence
    • The Commercial Leader is responsible for and manages, the Sales function giving key inputs 
    • Directing and supervision of the sales force in order to not only achieve but to surpass the set company sales targets
    • Uses his or her in-depth knowledge of Company's solutions to sell the Company's technological services, products and processes
    • Identify Client’s needs as well as spots new trends to ensure the right solutions are being advertised, marketed and developed for the right prospects
    • Manage Clients and Prospects Maps in order to expand Company Energy Clients Relationships Network
    • Market development
    • Directing the sales & marketing budget
    • Advising and providing management team with sales & marketing expertise for the overall performance
    • Regularly (Daily) engage with existing Client’s Network, new Clients
    • Overseeing all marketing, advertising and promotional activities
    • Oversee Commercial and Technical Proposals 
    • Supervise Markets and Clients reports on the progress towards the identified and validated Targets

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Engineering or other Technical discipline
    • Familiar with the IT and Energy Industry
    • Minimum 7+ years’ experience in a similar senior position
    • Minimum of 7+ years of solid commercial track-record with existing relationship network within Oil & Gas, IT and Renewable Industries
    • Be abreast of the latest Industries trends and understand how to convert them into new sales
    • Extensive team management experience
    • Experience in developing Technical and Commercial Multi-Year Service Proposals.
