Job Introduction

    Adexen was mandated by a multinational organization to recruit an experienced Operations Manager for their construction projects. The position is based in Benin.

Responsibilities

    • Coordination and supervision of subcontrator works
    • Responsible for the conformity of the works with the contract
    • Responsible for the implementation of HSE and QA/QC plans
    • Prepare internal reports pertaining to job planning and execution
    • Coordination of yards
    • Coordination of expatriate and local staff
    • Responsible for work preparation and efficient execution of works as per work program and budget
    • Planning, monitoring and reporting of progress

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering
    • Master's degree is a plus
    • Minimum 5 years experience in major roads, infrastructure, earthmoving construction works in comparable position
    • Familiar with international industry standards
    • Multicultural team experience
    • Previous experience in Africa is a plus
    • French & English command
