Chief Operating Officer (COO) - Expatriate

Job Introduction

Adexen was mandated by a leading network of international schools to recruit an expatriate Chief Operating Officer (COO), speaking fluently French and English. The position can be based in Johannesburg, South Africa or in Ivory Coast.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations of all schools to deliver to the learners and their parents the world-class experience they require.
• Responsible for achieving schools’ P&L and operational performance (including educational outcome) objectives, designing and implementing effective procedures and systems, driving effective data-based decisions, setting comprehensive goals for erformance and growth,
• Managing teams, supporting the business development and expansion efforts and more.
• Member of the leadership committee, reports to the CEO and supervises regional/country directors and heads of school.

Desired Skills and Experience

• Master's degree from a recognised university
• Passionate about Africa and Education
• Previous experience within a multinational organisation will be a plus
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Have strong, demonstrated, experience in leading multi-country operations
