The Area Sales Manager develops the company’s businesses in specific territory/geographical locations in Nigeria. He/She will maximise the company’s volume and value contributions, identify and develop distributors with capacity for sustaining company’s sales target and distribution objectives.
- Coordinate business development activities in specific area
- Facilitate company’s product growth through tactical execution of marketing strategies to achieve volume and value growth
- Estimate and analyze category development potential for each category of the company’s products and create subsequent plans to consistently grow each category
- Develop tactics to achieve 100% of company’s annual sales target within assigned area, using appropriate sales dynamics to achieve sales objectives
- Lead the sales team to develop a large scale distribution channel to deploy the company’s sales strategies and develop plans to address local business needs
- Analysis of customers’ performances and implement necessary tactics for business growth
- Develop ways to improve process efficiency with distributor and retailer through liaison with all stakeholders
- Supervise all sales activities and distribution of company products to distributor’s outlets with assigned area
- Encourage distributors through motivation and effective identification and control of factors that may impede the consumption of company products
- Identify and develop customers with high capacity for high profitable volumes and long term businesses
- Maintain close relationship with customers and develop strategies to grow their business
- Field Coaching and trainings of Customer Executives and Representatives
