Job Introduction

    Adexen has been mandated by one of its clients a leading long-established international group to recruit a Sales Manager for its operations in Nigeria. The position is based in Abuja, Nigeria.

Responsibilities

    Acquire new businesses for the company and manage existing ones. Rebrand the company and engage in media communication activities such as marketing and advertisement both in print media and electronic media.

    Maintains client relationships:

    • Regular visits to prospects, clients and follows up on visits.
    • Collects and answers needs and offer advice and assistance.

    Ensures the company's commercial development:

    • Collaborate with the General Manager to implement sales policy and processes
    • Develops the client portfolio and turnover
    • Analyze sales figures and propose sales promotion and development measures.
    • Monitor competitors and make suggestions to management

    Submit sales reports:

    • Create a comprehensive weekly sales reporting system.
    • Escalate complaints in the client tracking program.

    Lead the sales team:

    • Coach and support sales executives.
    • Monitor sales executives’ activities.

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related discipline. Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 10 years experience in Sales with the last 3 years in a managerial position.
    • Must have experience in the sales of Heavy Equipments and Machines.
    • Proficient in sales and marketing techniques.
    • Proficient in promotional sales techniques.
    • Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to lead a Team.
    • Ability to forecast with precision.
