Adexen was mandated by an international Maritime Group to recruit an experienced Expatriate Marine Technical Projects Manager for its operations. The position is based in Marseille, France.
Responsibilities
Advise Group assets manager and executive commitee on vessels integrity and capabilities
Improve Group Planned Maintenance Period (PMP) project management standards and methods
Prioritize/monitor works related to vessels life cycle and technical safety (Group Tech Solutions,extermal studies...)
Build Group vessels retrofit projects and GHG reduction initiatives
Vessels integrity and capabilities : consolidation of decision making technical inputs (technical needs, risks & mitigations…) for Group assets manager and executive commitee
Implementation of industry best practices and cutting edge approaches (PMP project timeline, risks mitigation, cash forecast and management…)
Training of PMP project managers and superintendants, competencies certification
Vessels life-cyle works and GHG reduction initiatives : point of contact of Group TS (works priorization when needed, Group expectations, works validations…) ; technical watch and elaboration of external contracts (engineering studies) ; technical support to operational excellence team for all related to technical safety and GHG reduction
Vessels retrofit projects : definition and management of Group life extension survey project (condition assesment program approach); Elaboration of retrofit scope of works (including GHG reduction solutions) and projects (discussions with yards and makers)
Desired Skills and Experience
Engineering Master Degree from a recognised University
Technical maritime background including maintenance period / yard projects management.
Good knowledge of naval architecture and engineering
Previous experience in a senior marine role within an international organisation is required
