Adexen was mandated by an international Beverage Group to recruit a Senior Communications Manager for its operations. The position is based in Lagos.
The main purpose of this role is to provide support and thought leadership across communication platforms and local partners to protect and enhance the reputation of all Group brands alongside its business partner, removing potential barriers and building essential support to ensure an enabling environment in which the business can operate and grow.
Lead and support all aspects of communication in the Nigerian market, focusing on a wide variety of key audiences including media, government, business/industry, partners and internal functions (marketing,customer and sales teams).
The incumbent, in collaboration with the Head of Marketing and the business unit's communications team, is responsible for developing and executing communications and public relations strategies, while maintaining positive relationships with key media and other influential stakeholders. This includes: planning, developing and managing the implementation of the strategy in the Nigerian contextas for communications and sustainability plans to showcase the company's initiatives, build and strengthen the company's reputation and improve trust in the company's beverages, operations and relationships with communities.
Develop and manage end-to-end influencer campaigns including framing the campaign strategy, curating talent, negotiating rates, managing contract development, influencer relations, and reporting.
Work with the in-house marketing department of an organization and external consultants to support during different projects and ensure delivery in terms of timelines and goals
Work to grow brand awareness and maintaining our brand values both internally and externally.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor's degree in marketing and/or communication
Master's degree is a plus
At least 10 years experience in FMCG marketingor advertising within an international corporation
Communications implementation & execution–knowledge of procedures and information for implementing public relations
Project Managementto prepare, monitor and assess the RoI & RoA ofcommunication activations & campaigns
Editing and Proofing: Strong editorial skills in both print and digital, and experience commissioning content.
Ability to prepare materials for the media and other audiences by selecting, revising and correcting copy elements;
Event Coordination: The ability to create and coordinate the materials and logistics necessary to plan for and execute the tasks needed to create a successful visit, meeting or event;
Experience working with, influencing and coordinating cross-functional teams
Excellent coordination skills and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlineswith partners & head office

Speaking and presentation skills
