Job Introduction

    Adexen has been mandated by a leading international player in offshore marine services, providing innovative solutions to the oil & gas industry to recruit a Head of Fleet to oversee and optimize fleet performance.

Responsibilities

    The Head of Fleet will be responsible for implementing the operational strategy defined by top management and ensuring the technical, operational, financial, and HSE performance of the fleet.

    The role requires strong leadership to coordinate multiple functions, drive operational excellence, and ensure compliance with international maritime regulations while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    Fleet Management & Operations

    • Lead and manage Fleet Managers and coordinate technical, maintenance, crewing, procurement, and QHSE teams
    • Ensure optimal fleet performance in terms of reliability, efficiency, and cost control
    • Drive operational KPIs and monitor technical performance across the fleet
    • Oversee OPEX and CAPEX budgets and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
    • Supervise fleet operations across multiple regions including Europe, Asia, and Africa

    Strategy & Performance

    • Implement group operational strategy and ensure alignment with business objectives
    • Define and monitor performance indicators and action plans
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence
    • Support strategic decision-making through reporting and analysis

    Compliance & HSE

    • Ensure full compliance with international maritime standards (ISM, ISPS, MLC, OVID)
    • Promote and lead a strong HSE culture across all operations
    • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and certification standards
    • Manage audits, inspections, and relationships with classification societies and authorities

    Stakeholder Management

    • Collaborate closely with internal departments including Asset Management, Finance, and Operations
    • Interface with external stakeholders such as flag state authorities, auditors, and classification societies
    • Support customer satisfaction initiatives and ensure service delivery excellence

Desired Skills and Experience

    Qualifications & Experience

    • Master Mariner certification (>3000 GT)
    • Minimum 10 years’ experience in the offshore industry
    • Proven experience in fleet management and technical strategy
    • Previous experience in senior operational leadership roles
    • Strong knowledge of international maritime regulations and offshore standards
