Adexen has been mandated by one of its clients a leading long established international group to recruit a Business Controller for it's operations in Nigeria. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Participate in the preparation of the Monthly Reporting to Management and Corporate Head Office in partnership with the Chief Accountant.
Prepare the Budget and Mid-term Plan for the various entities.
Check and control the reliability of cost accounting and management information from different reports.
Develop and implement KPs by activity to immediately alert potential drift.
Propose areas of improvement for OPEX monitoring and reduction.
Participate in strengthening and training the Credit Controllers and Debts Collectors.
Improve the monitoring of the Branch activities.
Establish procedures and management processes when necessary.
Desired Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree Accounting or any other social science and related discipline.
5-8 year's experience in a similar role.
Certified member of ICAN or ACCA.
Strong accounting, analytical and research skills.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Highly numerate and able to be at ease with figures.
Ability to focus on quality, cross-checking, numbers and facts, to ensure zero error.
