Kahama Oil Mill (KOM) group is a leading manufacturing company in Tanzania with its headquarters in Kahama.KOM group is widely diversified into five segments namely agroprocessing, industrial manufacturing,retail,Import and Export and food processing. In the agroprocessing segment KOM deals with cotton ginning, oil processing from cotton and sunflower seeds and cotton seed cakes which are used as animal feed. Under Industrial manufacturing KOM has four manufacturing plants (pipe, plastic, steel, and aluminium roofing sheets).In the retail sector KOM owns a supermarket,bakery and restaurant and a pharmacy. KOM is also engaged in import and export of various products such as agroprocessing machineries, motorbikes, and hardware.
