Asonha Energie is developing the 34MW Kinguele Aval Hydropower Project. The project is a classic run of river scheme, located on the Mbei river about 100km from Libreville. The company is owned by Meridiam, an infrastructure investment fund and the Gabonese Sovereign Investment Fund (FGIS).
The concession agreement and the PPA are executed, and the Environment Impact Assessment has been validated by the Authorities. The project is due to start construction in 2020 with a COD late 2023.
