Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences was established in 1987 and is situated in Apeldoorn, Amsterdam and Vienna (Austria).
With a focus on 5 key themes, “Management, Internationalisation, Diversity, Sustainability, & Innovation”, Wittenborg is one of the fastest growing independent international University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands.
With over 1000 students from more than 100 different countries studying on its Bachelor and Master programmes in the School of Business, School of Hospitality & Tourism, School of Art & Technology and School of Sport & Health. From 2019 Wittenborg also offers doctoral programmes together with its partner, the University of Brighton.
In its 10-year plan, presented in 2013, Wittenborg is aiming at growing to a broad university with totally 5 schools.
The School of Education started offering MA in Education and PGCert in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education in 2018.
