The Delta State Traffic Management Authority Law 2013 came into force on the 24th day of October 2013. The operationalisation of the Law was approved on Wednesday 18th November 2015 by the State Executive Council.
The Authority was formally inaugurated by His Excellency Governor Okowa on Thursday 14th May 2016 after an 8 days induction programme
