KCH Consumer Healthcare Limited, is an indigenous consumer healthcare company incorporated at the Corporate Affairs Commission and registered by the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria for the purpose of manufacturing, marketing and distribution of pharmaceutical products.
Formerly, the company commenced operations in 2000 as Kuka Consumer Healthcare Limited majoring in the importation and distribution of pharmaceutical products in Nigeria and among countries across the West Coast of Africa.
The idea behind the establishment of KCH Consumer Healthcare was informed by the rapid growth of the holding company as well as the need to integrate its long term plans which included among others, the establishment of a world class pharmaceutical enterprise.
In abiding with that fate, KCH acquired Pharmamax Nigeria Limited, a fledgling pharmaceutical company based in Lagos and Pharmatimes Ltd, an influential international health newspaper in 2014, to facilitate the process of building a one-stop pharmaceutical conglomerate in Africa. Also, in line with the company’s slow market penetration strategy, KCH is in the process of establishing an ECOWAS compliant GMP Plant in Lagos.
