Sky Foods Limited (SFL) was incorporated in June 2012 for purposes of venturing into juice manufacturing - initially targeting the cordials and nectar segments which are marketable.
In 2013, it acquired the ‘Treetop’ Trademark from Unilever.
Treetop was a brand manufactured by East Africa Industries (EAI), today known as Unilever Kenya.
In a joint venture with Sky Foods Ltd, ICDC has committed KSh 35 million to re-launch the Treetop Brand of juices with a modern look and feel at a cost upwards of Ksh 100 Million.
ICDC is owned by indigenous Kenyan entrepreneurs who are well versed with the beverages market.
