The commencement of operations begun with one radio station - Joy 99.7FM as the first private radio station licensed in Ghana.
The emergence of Joy FM radically changed the media landscape in Ghana and offered a platform for credible and honest news reporting; a strong independent voice of the people to be heard; citizen participation in public discussions and an empowerment of the people.
