Nawah Energy Company is mandated to operate and maintain the four Units of the Barakah Nuclear Energy Plant, located in the Al Dhafra Region of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, to the highest standards of safety, quality and security.
The company was incorporated as a subsidiary of Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC) in 2016 as a result of the Joint Venture Agreement between ENEC and Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and is a Private Joint Stock Company (PJSC) with 82% ownership by ENEC 18% ownership by KEPCO.
