Kampala Cement Company Ltd based in Kampala - Uganda is part of a Conglomerate under Multiple Group of Companies.
Building in on the customer trust, confidence and rising expectations in the growing construction industry, the group opted to set up a cement manufacturing plant in Uganda. The year 2015 saw the group enter the market with the highest Cement grade. The plant currently has capacity to produce over 1.2 million metric tons per annum under the following five Brand names as follows:
NYATI - 32.5R Cem IV, Pozzolanic Cement
CHUI - 32.5R Cem II, PPC
KIFARU - 42.5R & 42.5N Cem II, PPC
NDOVU - 42.5R & 42.5N Cem I, OPC
SUPERCRETE - 52.5N Cem I, OPC
Our high grade Cement is manufactured under Uganda National Bureau of Standards (UNBS) / East African standards and periodically tested at the UNBS Laboratories. Keeping in mind the customer requirement for consistent quality of cement, the foremost investment was made in an in-house up to date Ultra-Modern State-of-the-art Cement Laboratory where the cement under production is checked continuously at half hour intervals. All batches are again checked and tested before dispatch.
With three state-of-the-art latest generation grinding mills from Germany and back-up power supply, the plant can run continuously throughout the year with little maintenance downtime.
On the other hand, the experience in inland transportation strengthens our capacity to transport and store raw materials for continuous production. All raw materials are tested and certified before dispatch from the source. The company employs technical staff with collective experience of over 60 years in the cement industry.
