The history of ISRZ began in 1951 in the convenient harbor of the Sukhoi estuary (northwestern coast of the Black Sea). The enterprise has a favorable location - near the Ilyichevsk seaport and 20 km. from Odessa. In addition, ships calling at Chernomorsk in winter benefit from the mild climate in the region.
Since its foundation, the plant has carried out repairs of all types of vessels using the latest technologies. At one time, the change in the form of ownership of the enterprise, along with the increased activity of ISRZ in the world ship repair market, led to a comprehensive modernization of the plant's production facilities.
Today ISRZ is the largest ship repair company in Ukraine, offering first-class conditions for any ship repair, including modernization. The company has the ability to carry out repairs for all types of ships, including technically complex types of ships, such as car carriers, ferries, product tankers, reef fleet, container ships and multipurpose ships.
