CDSG launched operations in the flour milling business under our Diamond Star brand with a one ton-per-day flour mill located in Yangon and Mandalay. Our production capacity has grown significantly from producing 1,160 tons of wheat flour per day from 241 tons per day when we started our business. CDSG’s partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation in 2015 has resulted in becoming the country's market leader for flour milling and distribution. We are proud and privileged to supply almost all the major downstream companies throughout the entire country.
CDSG is a market leader with over 50% of market share in Myanmar. Our first mill is situated in Mandalay and it was established in 1980 and it produces one ton per day. The second mill is situated in Yangon and it was established in 2003 and it produces 240 tons per day.
In these days, our total current production capacity is 1160 tons per day due to the continuous growth with one milling line in Mandalay factory with the production capacity in 220 tons per day and three milling lines in Yangon factory with the production capacity in 940 tons per day.
We supply almost all major downstream companies such as bakery, noodle, confectionery, HORECA and others across Myanmar.
Many varieties of flour are needed to cater to customers’ requirements. CDSG also distributes baking equipment, and baking ingredients such as shortening, margarine, cake gel and flavor, and yeast amongst others through Lluvia Limited, Wheat Flour Business Unit.
