Abuja Leasing Company Limited (ALC) was incorporated on 30th March 2005 as a limited liability company. ALC commenced business in July 2005 and was modeled as a public private partnership to develop an integrated transportation network to provide lease finance to operators who will provide an organized, modern and efficient taxi fleet in Abuja and environs.
ALC was charged with a principal goal to provide a structured, organized and viable lease finance to individuals and corporate entities.
With an initial share capital of N250 million (approximately $1.6 million) which was later increased to N1.5 billion in 2007, ALC is financially positioned to be a major player in the leasing market .
ALC successfully pioneered the establishment of an organized transportation fleet management solution in Abuja that was focused on providing exceptional service to a host of clients. The fleet of over 110 cabs was commissioned by the FCT minister Mallam Nasir El-Rufia . By the end of April 2012 the fleet had been expanded to 1,308 vehicles.
With over a decade of successful operations, ALC has diversified into other financial services and has upheld the tradition of offering exceptional services to our esteemed customers. This is evidenced by our robust clientele list and continued business relationship with our customers over the years.
