Sam-Ace Limited was incorporated in 1991 in Kano, Nigeria and started operations as a community pharmacy in 1992.
In 2003, a subsidiary, Taobat Pharmaceutical Industries Annex, was registered for the purpose of manufacturing pharmaceutical products.
In 2005, NAFDAC registration number was obtained for its first manufactured product. And in the same year, the Company ceased to operate as a community pharmacy to focus primarily on the manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
In 2007, the Company changed the name of its subsidiary, Taobat Pharmaceutical Industries Annex, to the parent company, Sam-Ace Limited.
In 2010, the Company moved its factory to Osun, Nigeria.
