Nigerian University Pension Management Company Limited (NUPEMCO) is a Limited Liability Company incorporated under the Companies and Allied Matters Act Laws of the Federation of Nigeria 2004, with its registered office at No 1, Zambezi Crescent, Maitama, Abuja. The Company is licensed by the National Pension Commission to carry on business as a Pension Fund Administrator. NUPEMCO is geared towards the management and administration of pension funds of employees of the Nigerian University System.
The initiative was a result of concerns over the welfare of Members of the Nigerian University System under the Contributory Pension Scheme.
