The University of Economics, Prague (Vysoká škola ekonomická v Praze - VŠE), the largest public university of economics in the Czech Republic with more than 60 years of tradition, offers a diverse spectrum of bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral programmes in the fields of economics, business and management. VŠE has been included in the Financial Times Ranking and QS Ranking. It is regularly ranked as one of the best “business schools” in Central and Eastern Europe according to the annual evaluation of the Eduniversal Ranking.
Two master’s degree programmes have been certified with EPAS accreditation by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD), one MBA programme has been awarded FIBAA (Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation) accreditation.
Education at six faculties of the University of Economics, Prague (Faculty of Finance and Accounting, Faculty of International Relations, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Informatics and Statistics, Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Management) is in compliance with the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System (ECTS). The number of students currently enrolled is approximately 18,000. The annual number of exchange students is about 800. VŠE is a member of numerous international organizations and networks such as the international strategic alliance CEMS (Global Alliance in Management Education) and PIM (Partnership in International Management), and currently cooperates with more than 220 partner universities from four continents.
