Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti (ABUAD) is a Federal Government Licensed Private University situated at Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria.

Location:The University which is built on a permanent site covers an area of 1,300 Acre of land on a high altitude of 17,500ft above sea level thereby providing cool and ideal climate for learning, sporting activities and commercial agriculture.

Structures on ground: Imposing state-of-the-art and fully air-conditioned structures for Physical Sciences, Social and Management Sciences, Law, Medicine and Health Sciences, Sports, Hostels, Staff Quarters, Talent Discovery Centre, ABUAD Inn and modern cafeteria which provides Local, English and Continental dishes, ABUAD Bottle Water Plant, ABUAD Bakery, ABUAD Printing Press, Tuck Shops, ABUAD Agro-tourism mega farm, ABUAD Integrated Resources etc.

Teaching Facilities on ground: Fully furnished laboratories for Chemistry, Physics and Biology; fully furnished modern virtual and physical libraries; ICT Laboratory, E-learning platform with Interactive white Boards for all classrooms; Broadband Network Access for internet connectivity for all colleges and hostels.

Recognition: The University has been acknowledged by past and present Presidents of Nigeria, the National Universities Commission (NUC) and ICPC as a reference point, model and benchmark, the “fastest growing Private University in Africa”, “Europe in Africa” by All-African Students Union (AASU) and National Association of Law Students respectively, ABUAD has also been declared as the template for Engineering Programme in Nigeria and the Best Law College with Superb Curriculum in West Africa.
