Federated Commodities Limited (FEDCO), a limited liability company was founded in 1996 with its headquarters in Accra, Ghana.
FEDCO, a Licensed Cocoa Buying firm was founded by Alhaji Adamu Iddrissu, an experienced entrepreneur with a commitment to buying high quality, well fermented and dried cocoa beans from farmers in all cocoa growing communities in Ghana. Its core business activities are Purchasing, Storage and Marketing of Cocoa beans. Ghana Cocoa Board recognizes FEDCO as one of the successful indigenous and responsible licensed buying companies in the country.

PEOPLE
FEDCO is focused on people in cocoa growing communities with the aim of improving their general living conditions. We engage farmers and provide tools and training, using effective Adults Teaching Principles. Through improved farm productivity and cocoa bean quality, farmers are able to generate higher incomes, which help to create a thriving Cocoa Industry that adheres to International Labor Standards.
PLANET
Throughout all our sustainability work, safeguarding the environment and preserving the planet for future generations is imperative. FEDCO therefore implements responsible and sound environmental programs for its farmers by providing training on Good Agricultural practices as well as Good Social and Environmental practices which conserve soil, water, people and the fragile tropical ecosystems.
PROFIT
