Centre for Law and Business, in pursuance of its mission, aims at achieving excellence in law in all its ramifications that is, in the learning, teaching, studying, practicing, legislating, appreciation and implementation of law and law related issues, as well as in business, management, leadership and good governance.

CLB offers various intellectual products and services including learning, teaching and tutorial support in 2 broad categories: Academic Programmes and Professional Programmes.

The Academic products are anchoured on the world renowned University of London while the Professional products are anchoured on international qualifications of equally internationally recognised bodies such as the ACCA (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants).

As part of our objective to provide opportunities for and access to quality world class education, CLB offers innovative access to education such as our 2 + 1 undergraduate studies, designed for A’level and International Baccalaureate students and 1+ 1 undergraduate studies in law, business, management and related degrees for graduates who wish to study for another first degree for various reasons.

Through the One Year International Foundation Programme (IUFP), O’ level delivered by CLB Tutorial College, a subsidiary, students have an alternative pathway to UK universities.

Postgraduate students in law, international management, international business and human resources also receive invaluable support at CLB.

And at our Learning and Development Department, continuous human capital and self development are supported by seminars, workshops, conferences, executive programmes hosted locally and abroad and continuing professional development (CPD) that enhance this objective with special focus on the legal profession by supporting the Continuing Legal Education (CLE) of the Nigerian Bar Association. And revision classes for law students.

The CLB library and reading room accessible to the public is also intended to encourage the culture of reading and provide an opportunity for self study.

The entire CLB intellectual products and facilities speak to the various segments of society, from the young O’level and A’ level school leavers, young undergraduate and postgraduate students to matured individuals in the various sector of the economy and areas of human endeavour.

On the public service front and corporate social responsibility (CSR), the CLB Biennial Public Lectures and Quarterly Law and Business Lectures are designed to promote public discourse and knowledge enhancement on issues of public interest and benefit and topical issues for the public good.
