ALMA Stores Limited is a fully Nigerian owned and registered Limited Liability Company. The Company was registered and began operation as an importer and distributor of baby goods based in Ibadan, Oyo State in 1960. In various times, it has distributed products in the FMCG category for leading multinationals including SmithKline Beecham, Nestle, West Africa Milk Company (Nigeria) PLC, as well as trading in textiles and other materials.
In the last few years, activities at ALMA Stores have been revived and re-invigorated through new management, new focus (Lagos Operations), and new investment. The “new” ALMA Stores was initially acting as an importer and distributor of Procter & Gamble brands. In March 1999, Alma Stores was appointed one of Six (6) distributors (now only 2) for Procter & Gamble Nigeria in the Lagos area. Presently, the Company distributes for and is affliated with other FMCG brands as FrieslandCampina WAMCO, Guinness, Diageo etc.
