The ONGOING Accelerated Area Council Title and Sectional Title Reissuance Scheme (AACSTRIS) is an initiative of the FCT Administration to primarily generate Statutory C-of-Os for genuine owners of Area Council Titles

• Expand the title owner’s credit worthiness with Microfinance banks and other financial institutions
• Attract investments to the Area Councils
• Bring development to the Area Councils thereby aiding the city’s expansion
• Significantly Reduce Inefficiency in Land Administration
The primary objectives of the AACTRIS Project is the revalidation and processing of C-of-Os for plots of land in the Area Councils, Mass Housing estates and Sectional titles for Multi-dwelling properties in the FCT.
This is to be used as a means of catalyzing economic and infrastructural development in the Area Councils, etc.
The project receives Customary titles from applicants with a payment of N100,000 only application fee into the designated AACSTRIS account at any Oceanic/Ecobank and upon certification of true ownership will be issued Statutory bankable titles.
