Mezue Associates is a firm of Estate Surveyors & Valuers recognized by the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers and registered for the practice of the profession of Estate Surveying and Valuation throughout the length and breadth of Nigeria by the Estate Surveyors & Valuers Registration Board of Nigeria established by Act No. 24 of 1975 ( cap E 13 LFN, 2007).
The firm was founded in 1981. Our name Mezue Associates was registered at the inception of the firm in 1981 as no. 8773 under the Registration of Business Names Act of 1961 and retained under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990.
With initial one office, which was opened in Enugu in September 1981, the firm has steadily grown and expanded to other towns in Nigeria. Presently, the firm has its head office in Enugu and branch offices in Enugu, Abuja, Lagos, Onitsha, Aba, Abakaliki, Port Harcourt, and Maiduguri. Foreign offices are in the UK and Sierra Leone.
Since inception, the Principal Consultant and Chief Executive Officer of the firm has remained Chief L. C. Mezue. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers. He worked in the Anambra State Housing Development Corporation and later in the estate firm of Knight Frank & Rutley (Nig.) until 1981 when Mezue Associates was established where he took position as the Principal Consultant and Chief Executive Officer.
The firm’s Managing Consultant is Mr. Ike Agwubike. He has within the firm risen through the ranks to this current position. He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors & Valuers and holds LLB Honours from the University of Nigeria.
