On the 29th of April, 1959, Nigerite Limited was incorporated as a joint venture between Etex Group of Belgium and O’dua Investment Corporation Limited of Nigeria. Etex Group is the world’s leader in the manufacture of affordable and sustainable building solutions. Strategically located on the ever-busy industrial area of Oba Akran, Nigerite Limited sits on a massive 50 acres of land with state-of-the-art production facility, administrative blocks and recreational/residential centres.

We are an ambitious company determined to transform the real estate sector of the Nigerian economy having been consistent over the years in churning out world-class innovative brands in the roofing, ceiling, flooring and cladding categories. Today, almost every home in Nigeria has the Nigerite mark. We are Africa’s largest one-stop building components solutions provider. Our products and processes are certified by the Standards Organisation of Nigeria.

As a major player in the Nigerian economy, Nigerite Limited is committed to the highest ideals of corporate governance and as such, fulfills its statutory obligations to the Nigerian government, the community in which it operates, its workforce, suppliers and customers. Nearly six decades since our establishment, we have continued to remain relevant and competitive, providing gainful direct employment to hundreds of Nigerians as well as thousands of others across our value chain.

Our efforts at reducing the housing deficit in Nigeria led to the introduction of the Dry Construction System, a modern building systems which tends to translate the building process into an industrial process. The system is a more versatile and faster construction method, allowing up to 70% construction time saving possible when compared with the traditional wet construction using bricks and blocks system. This system when effectively deployed, is capable of drastically reducing Nigeria’s housing needs.
