Job Introduction

    Adexen has been mandated by one of its clients a leading commercial real estate service provider to recruit a Commercial and Marketing Director for its operations in Johannesburg, South Africa.


    Manage and Grow the Commercial and Marketing team by working closely with the Account Management Team, the Marketing Team, the Country Managers, the Success Managers, and all the Group BUs

    • Draft and Implement Group pricing strategies such as Entry pricing, Discounts & promotions, Dynamic pricing, and Yield Management.
    • Revenue Management: Optimise co-working revenue to maximize profitability
    • Go-to-market Commercial & Marketing strategies: Pre-Launch, Launch, Path-to-Maturity, Maturity
    • Development to Analyse market demand, make recommendations and Secure Enterprise solutions
    • Draft & Implement Group Commercial Strategy

    For each of the Group business lines (D&B, Coworking, Architecture, Projects, Construction)

    At Country & Africa levels

    For each Client targets - Startups, SMEs, Globals

    For each Sales channels: direct & indirect

    • Cross sale & Up sale across BUs Country, Product & Services
    • Budget: commercial planning & monitoring
    • Reporting - weekly, monthly, quarterly based on defined KPIs
    • Benchmark & monitor competition
    • Partnerships

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Minimum of 7 years experience in a similar role in a leading global hospitality chain
    • Experience working in a fast-growing start-up is a strong plus
    • Strong understanding and appetite for the Real Estate Industry
    • Outstanding business acumen
    • Excellent Business Development & Growth mindset
    • Pan African experience is a strong plus - knowledge, and experience in working and operating in different African markets is a strong plus
    • English is a must, where French and or Portuguese is a strong plus
    • Strong international exposure
    • Positive Team spirit and great team player
    • Self-driven, proactive, autonomous and reliable
    • Detailed oriented & rigorous
    • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
