Job Introduction

    Adexen has been mandated by one of its clients a leading Commercial Real Estate Service Provider to recruit a Co-Working Operations Manager for its operations in Africa.

Responsibilities

    Coordinate daily management and operational excellence of the organization across Africa.

    Product Growth and Development:

    • Provide operational feedback for the team while designing and building the team on the development pipeline.

    Product Launch:

    • Recruit and train the local team
    • Implement the Standard Operation Procedure (SOP)
    • Champion Pre- Launch and Launching activities
    • Manage ideas from innovation to invention in the organization.

    Product Management:

    • Managing daily activities and operations in the organization
    • Grow and manage the team.
    • Ensure consistency of experience and quality
    • Monitor & optimize the financial and operational performance of the organization.

Desired Skills and Experience

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Administration, Hospitality or related discipline. A master’s degree will be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 5 - 7 years experience in Hospitality leading global hospitality chain as General Manager or Assistant General Manager of a business hotel or cluster of hotels (P&L responsible), preferably in Africa or at least in a developing country.
    • Experience working in a fast-growing start-up is a strong plus.
    • Outstanding operational experience is a must.
    • Proven experience of putting in places the processes & systems to ensure the quality & consistency of the service and the experience to the Client.
    • Ability and Appetite to work with multiple disciplines such as Architects, Design, Projects, Commercial, Marketing or Finance.
    • Knowledge of working & operating in different African markets is an added advantage.
    • The ability to use English at the professional level is a must. French and or Portuguese is a strong plus.
