Adexen is mandated by one of its clients in the FMCG/Pharmaceuticals industry to recruit a Key Account Executive. The position is based in Lagos, Nigeria.
Responsibilities
Responsible for account management of customers, getting new business, contract renewals, and expansion activities including managing assigned market segment and geographical territory accounts
Function in areas of Sales, Retail and Business Development
Provide sales of the company's Brand Protection and Market Intelligence solutions
Collaborate with other departments across the organization, including Product Development, Technology, Finance and Operations teams
Create winning proposals for customers & organisations to increase market reach
Execute plans to increase revenue
Build positive and productive customer relationships for beneficial business partnership
Identify business opportunities in line with assigned product portfolio
Develop new business whilst achieving sales and profitability through effective management of a defined customer base
Act strategically and target key sales activities to optimize return on investment in each key account
Enlist and include products in drug formulary list of key accounts and negotiate for product availability in each key account
Negotiate with customers on pricing, lead-time, order volume and technical issues
Coordinate sales efforts and provide flow of data on account and competitors to product information
Achieve sales targets
Desired Skills and Experience
First degree in a Marketing or related field
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the Pharma/Consumer Goods/FMCG/Packaging Industry
Experience in concept selling and management of Key Accounts
Ability to meet and exceed sales targets
Able to operate independently and flexibly
Must be self-motivated with a business acumen
Good negotiation, communication and analytical skills
