Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a large multinational conglomerate to recruit an Expatriate Group Controls & Assurance (Internal Audit) Manager for its operations.. The position is based in Cotonou, Benin.
Responsibilities
Support in development of Strategy for assigned geographies
Develop Internal Audit framework aligned to Group Controls Assurance guidelines
Collaborate with various functions and leadership team to enable efficient and effective risk based process review (Internal Audit)
Develop audit plan based on Risk Assessment of countries (Benin, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Dubai)
Develop in house audit team and able to use automated analytics for internal audits
Facilitate Audit Committee meetings as a strong business partner
Activate governance mechanism through Audit Tracker reporting and Audit Committee
Hands on experience on conducting Risk Assessments by having deep understanding of business models for agri-business
Experience in implementation of Risk Management
Experience in implementation of COSO framework for Internal Controls
Ability to resolve SoD conflicts and experience in implementation of GRC is a plus Experience in conducting Fraud Investigations
Understanding of Fraud Risk Management and hands on experience on Fraud Investigation
Desired Skills and Experience
B.Com+ CA
CPA / CISA / CIA / CFE is a plus
Minimum 2 years as Internal Audit Manager in a multinational company
Fluent in both French and English
Should have excellent leadership and relationship management skills
Experience in cross cultural environments
Decision Making Skill, Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
Knowledge of SAP- experience in GRC is a plus
Exposure to Agri-Business
Should be open to travel (2 – 3 weeks in a month)
Experience with companies manufacturing
