Responsibilities
Responsible for the Physical Trade to US/ European /Asian Market from West African Origins.
Responsible for the Physical Trade in the Regional Market of West Africa under ECOWAS certificate within various West African Countries
Responsible for Hedging the Position basis the Global S & D and Local S & D for Commodities in West African Region
Participating in the West African Commodity Trade by taking Position and managing the Supply Chain from EU/SOAM/US to West Africa.
Participating in the Physical Trade in US/Europe/Asia by taking Position and managing the Supply Chain
Marketing of Physical Value Added commodities to EU/US market from West Africa.
Championing the Certification Trade and availing the premium in EU/US market from West Africa
Responsible for coordinating credit control in Trade and obtaining payments from customers
Acts as an advisor on matters of tariffs, markets, national and foreign regulations. Ensures that all filings, documents, and regulatory reporting are completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to trade laws. Keep informed of international events and changes to laws and requirements that may impact operations.
Negotiate letters of credit or handle issues with international banks.
Managing Prop Trade of various commodities with a margin money limit to play with
Desired Skills and Experience
Minimum 18 years of Trading Experience in the International Market
Education: MBA/Degree from Premier Institute
Work Experience: Working as a Senior Trader in a Top Commodity company
Commodities to Handle: Cashew Kernel, Grains, Shea Nuts, Sesame and Cocoa
Undertaking Stock & Sell Model of various commodities in the destination markets of Europe & Asia
Should have relationship with global C&F Agents, Shipping Lines and Insurance Brokers
Should have understanding of global Freight market and Vessel Chartering
Should have relationship with brokers and end customers for the key Agri Commodities in destination market.
