Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) is ‘Dedicated for Sustainable Environment Development to Unlock Perpetual Food and Energy Resources’.

Established by Mr. Vivek Verma in 1992 from a modest start of manufacturing of spray nozzles, SED today has established its existence in more than 39 countries, providing Innovative Technological Solutions to Sugar & Allied Industries. SED offers integrated energy efficient, cost effective turnkey solution for Sugar Sector having specialization in Evaporation, Crystallization, Sugar Refining and Cooling & Condensing System. Development and Implementation of innovative ideas & technologies through energy efficient engineering has given credence to SED.

SED has identified several potential areas for energy conservation of sugar & allied industries to achieve increased productivity at reduced costs with optimum utilization of resources. The steam consumption of sugar industry has been achieved up to 27-28% on cane using SED’s innovative technologies, equipment and solutions. It is possible with 15-20% steam consumption by using current efficient equipment & technologies and further reduction is possible. The power (40 kW/Ton) consumption has been reduced up to 22-24 kW/Ton of cane and factory has been managed to operate with Zero Fresh Water requirement.

Spray Engineering Devices Limited (SED) has established a modern and Boilerless Jaggery (solid, semi-solid, powered, cake) Production Technology which is completely designed, engineered, erected, commissioned and running successfully at Mornisa Bio-Organics (P) Ltd. , Chalisgaon, Maharashtra.
