Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a world class FMCG company to recruit for the position of Management Accounts and Control Manager for its operations.
Job description
The Management Accounts and Control Manager will be responsible for Group wide Budgeting, Forecasting, Standard Costing, Monthly Operating Statement, MOS review & Analysis, Management Reporting, Ad-hoc assignments, Controls & Internal Audit.
The Management Accounts and Control manager will report directly to the Group Financial Controller with independent charge of internal audit.
The position is based in Lagos.
Responsibilities
- Consolidate and analyse the Regional Monthly performance Results(MOS) and report to the Management on monthly basis
- Analyse the Information and recommends Controls to ensure the Operations are carried out in line with the Policies and Procedures
- Setting the Budgeting and Planning Process in motion by sending the Budget Template & guidelines
- Coordinating with Regions and assisting in the management review of the Budgets
- Feedback to the Regions on the approved Budgets and performance indicators
- Monitors the actuals vs. Budget and recommends action on deviations
- Guides ERP team on Finance related aspects
- Administers the Standard Costing structure
- Assists management in various projects/special assignments
Qualifications et experience
- B.Sc degree in Accounting and must be a Chartered Accountant.
- 10 years of FMCG/Manufacturing experience at senior level, preferably in a Food and Beverage environment.
- Must possess a good working knowledge in MS Office tools and Accounting software, preferably Navision or any other ERP
- Must have the ability to manage and motivate a team
- Must possess first-hand experience of planning, budgeting and forecasting.
- Should posses a high degree of communication and analytical skills
- Must be result oriented.
