Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a world class shipping and logistics cooperation acting as a leading player in the Nigerian Maritime Sector. The company is looking to engage a Customer Service Officer for its operations in ONNE, PORT HARCOURT.
Job description
The Customer Service Officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service; hence understanding and satisfying the organizations customers’ requirements.
Responsibilities
- Communicate courteously with all customers on shipment updates
- Investigate and solve customers’ problems, which may be complex or longstanding problems that have been passed on by customer service assistants
- Keep accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customers
- Advise sales department on any issues in relation to customer complaints or suggestions
- Set up and structure all business meetings
- Responsible for all customs or related agencies clearance customer queries
- Understand the organizations services & keeping up to date with changes
- Maintain a good relationship between the company, customers and specific third parties
- Manage the designed sales incentive model
Qualifications et experience
- Minimum of a University degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in customer service management, in a shipping or logistics organization.
- Knowledge of port rules & regulations.
- Strong customer service ability.
- Very good in the use of Microsoft word & Excel.
- Good communication, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must have a problem solving attitude.
- Ability to work under pressure.
