Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading Multinational FMCG Group to recruit a Trade Category Manager for its operations in Cote D'ivoire.
Job description
The candidate will develop and implement customer/channel specific category plans based on category and shopper insights to grow market share within category.
The candidate will report directly to the Customer Marketing Manager/Director. This position is based in Cote D'ivoire.
Responsibilities
- Focus category management on the target shopper within strategic framework as set in National Category Building Plan
- Execute brand standards(brand DNA) and support development and execution of channel specific brand standards
- Ensure product availability and visibility
- Execute category planning through developing quarterly and monthly category plans for assortment, shelf-layout, promotional strategy and price positions.
- Support the annual account Joint Business Planning process through data analysis and opportunity identification
- Provide support to account manager in monitoring and analysing retail margins and customer profitability
- Support new product introduction for listing
- Implement customer marketing plan activities
- Measure and review category performance
- Use and leverage account specific category and shopper insights
Qualifications et experience
- University level education and relevant trade category management experience is required.
- Should have about 3-5 years of experience is required. Experience in customer facing, account management and brand building is an added advantage.
- Should have experience in Implementing Customer/Channel Business Plan.
- Must have good Customer Management and Selling skills.
- Must have good Project and Change Management Skills.
- Must have strong negotiation skills.
- Application and Exploitation of Information Technology skills is essential
- Must have good leadership skills.
