Adexen Recruitment Agency is looking for a Business Development Manager. The position is based in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.
Our client, an international company specialised in the distribution of industrial materials, has recently decided to open an office in Ivory Coast.
- The purpose of the role is to expand sales to new clients and services existing accounts
- Become an efficient supplier of materials to the industry by selling filters, bearings and pneumatics.
- Develop and manage the new business unit
- The Business Development Manager will report to the Managing Director Nigeria
- Develop a portfolio of new clients: identify opportunities, building local relationships, active prospecting
- Manage and prospect his area sales with the flexibility of developing his own sales strategy
- Meet individual targets relating to revenue growth, activities, profit margin
- Manage the new business unit: sales targets, administration, finance, customers relations, reporting
- Follow up contracts
- Ensure at all times that the profile of the company is positively represented
- To provide regular analysis of existing and future customer needs so as to anticipate future sales and business opportunities
- Commercial Engineer/Mechanical or electronics
- Knowledge of the filtration materials and equipments
- Expert Influencing, Negotiating and Sales skills
- A minimum of 5 years sales or business development experience
- Have a proven field sales BtoB
- Experience in West African environment will be appreciated
- Dedicated, motivated, enthusiastic
- Very corporate presentation, excellent interpersonal skills
- Fluency in French
